The white tribute was erected on Charterhall Road after a cyclist was killed following a collision with a parked car on Friday, October 27.

Hide AdAs well as acting as a memorial, the ghost bike or ghost cycle, can be intended as a reminder to passing motorists to be aware of cyclists that also use the road.
The 61-year-old cyclist was travelling westbound - towards Morningside - when he was involved in an incident with a parked, grey Mitsubishi car.
The man was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment, but he died at the hospital.
