Firefighters spent more than three hours tackling the blaze at Linkview House, Tolbooth Wynd, last night.

Hide AdThe emergency services were called around 9.30pm and fire engines from Tollcross, Marionville, McDonald Road and Crewe Toll attended.

A fire service spokeswoman said: “The occupants of two properties were evacuated and all other properties were confirmed as vacant.”
The fire was extinguished and fire crews handed over to the police at 12.40am.
Police said inquiries were continuing.
