Granton Road: Road remains closed after huge sinkhole attributed to Scottish Water defect

Granton Road remains closed as a giant sinkhole is attributed to a Scottish Water defect.
The road is closed between Afton Terrace and Boswall Green, and the area is cordoned off.

Hide AdLothian has announced that the number 8 and the number 14 are both affected saying: “Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Granton Road and are instead diverted via Clark Road, Trinity Road, Lomond Road, Primrose Bank Road and Boswall Road north bound.
“City bound services are diverted via Boswall Road, Primrose Bank Road, Stirling Road, East Trinity Road and Clark Road until further notice.”
