Jason Naismith returns to Scotland after former Hibs defender is freed by Peterborough United
The versatile defender, who spent a loan period with Hibs last season, had his contract with the English League One side cancelled by mutual consent after 53 appearances.
The 26-year-old has had just two outings for The Posh this season in the EFL Trophy, and the club has been trying to move him on since April.

County boss Stuart Kettlewell said: “Anybody who remembers Jason’s first period here will be well aware of just how big an asset he was for the club and that was merited in his transfer to Peterborough.
"Jason was an important figurehead here previously and there is no doubt he has the potential to play a big role here again.”
Naismith played 57 times for the Dingwall club during his first spell following his move from St Mirren in 2017 and had 14 matches under his belt for Hibs before a serious injury curtailed his season in January before the coronavirus pandemic shut down the Scottish game as a whole.

"He is certainly a player that can bring a lot to the group in terms of ability but also as a support for the players in and around him which I think you could see during an impressive spell on loan at Hibs last season.”
