EDINBURGH Airport has been named Britain’s best for customer satisfaction – and one of the top three in Europe.
The terminal was honoured at the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards for 2012.
It was the only UK airport amongst the finalists, with 250 across the world being judged.
The terminal was ranked third in Europe after Moscow Sheremetyevo and Malta Airport – the second year in a row it has finished in the top three. Gordon Dewar, chief executive of Edinburgh Airport, said: “The fact that we have again been placed so highly shows that our customers are pleased with the service they receive when travelling through Edinburgh Airport – something that we will continue to work hard to maintain.
“Ensuring the best passenger experience is one of our top priorities.”
