THE family of Edinburgh murder victim Alex McKinnon have hit out after snaps of his killer Jamie Bain enjoying a break from prison with his family were posted on the internet.
Images of Bain were posted showing him posing alongside his mother, partner, gran and children during a “compassionate leave” break from jail.
Bain, who gunned down former boxing champion Alex, 32, was caged for a minimum of 22 years in 2006.
He also shot and wounded Alex’s brother-in-law James Hendry in the Marmion Bar in Gracemount, Edinburgh, as a feud erupted into violence.
A McKinnon family member commented yesterday after seeing the pictures: “The family is disgusted at this, a murderer getting to go to the family home and sit all smiles and posing for pictures like he’s done nothing.”
