A Low railway bridge at Cameron Toll has been the scene of traffic chaos again after it was struck by a lorry.
Firefighters had to be called out to the scene at Lady Road following the incident at 1.45pm today, and the area was closed to traffic while they worked to free the vehicle.
It is understood network rail officials who examined the bridge found no serious damage to the structure.
It is the latest vehicle to hit the bridge, with a Scania lorry tipping over after a strike just last month. And in 2011 there was traffic chaos in the area after a Homebase delivery vehicle became wedged under the low bridge.
