TECHNOLOGY giant Apple has begun recruiting for jobs within its flagship Princes Street store.
Rumours have circulated for months that the former Burger King site in the East End was to be taken over by the company, but Apple itself has remained tight-lipped about its plans for the Capital.
However, an ad for jobs within its soon-to-open Edinburgh store has now been posted on its website, with the Capital joining Leeds and Plymouth as areas getting news stores and “new opportunities”.
It is not clear how many people the Edinburgh store would employ, though 13 different positions are being advertised.
The Evening News has already reported on plans submitted to the city council by MPA Architects – designers of the London Apple shop – which bear great similarity to existing stores.
