STAFF from the Royal Bank of Scotland in the Capital have raised £13,000 for a children’s charity.
Two teams of eight staff each ran a Barnardo’s shop for one day, with the aim of using their ideas and creativity to increase sales. The teams were based at the Portobello and Gorgie Road branches.
The event was part of a wider programme called Store Wars, where staff from different businesses take part in a volunteering challenge. RBS was the first corporate partner to work with Barnardo’s on the Store Wars programme.
