Big tourism push is on

National tourism agency VisitScotland has organised an event to promote the year of Creative Scotland.

Media from around the world are in the Capital this week to sample activities. It is hoped that the coverage gained from the trip will raise awareness of Scotland’s offering in the run-up to the year of Creative Scotland, which attempts to cash in on the London 2012 Olympics by encouraging people to visit Edinburgh.

The visit included a walking tour of the Capital with the author Lin Anderson.
