A BUS stop at the foot of Easter Road has been left demolished after being hit by a bus.

No-one is thought to have been injured in the crash which is believed to have happened on Sunday morning and partly blocked the access to the Tesco car park.

The bus is understood to have collided with the stop as a bus was pulling away, with Lothian Buses now investigating exactly what happened.

The city council sent teams to the scene to clear-up.
