BOSSES at a city firm have told of their pride after landing the royal seal of approval.

HotDocs, based in Fountainbridge, won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The document generation software company’s entire team were honoured at a reception held at the City Chambers.

Lord Provost Donald Wilson presented HotDocs managing director Russell Shepherd with a certificate and commemorative crystal bowl. It came just a week after Mr Shepherd attended a reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Her Majesty.

Mr Shepherd said: “Winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a tremendous endorsement of the hard work of the whole team in terms of increasing our sales in overseas markets.

“We will continue to implement our ambitious growth plans to achieve further success in expanding our territories and entering new markets.”
