A CARD-skimming device was today discovered on a city cash machine – for the second time in three weeks.

The equipment was found attached to the ATM at the Royal Bank of Scotland in Chesser Avenue by a member of the public.

Police said one was previously recovered from the same machine on July 22.

PC Grant Robertson from Police Scotland said: “If anyone has seen any suspicious activity around this cashpoint on Chesser Avenue over the last couple of weeks, they should contact Police Scotland on 101.

“I’d like to also advise the public to remain vigilant when using ATMs and to report anything unusual.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
