The pet charity PDSA has launched a recruitment drive for its High Street store.
The Edinburgh store raises funds to help provide free veterinary treatment for ill pets in the local area.
PDSA said the opportunity could suit people looking to make new friends and help pets in need of treatment, and boost the CVs of those looking for full-time work.
Store manager Barbara Buckley, said: “We are looking for volunteers who can help us on the shop floor serving customers and in the stock room sorting donations for sale.
“We also need key volunteers that can run the store in the evenings and on Sundays. We are open seven days a week, so any hours people can spare would be appreciated.”
