EDINBURGH Royal Choral Union will perform a concert to celebrate 100 years of the choir.

The event, on November 12, will be held at St Cuthbert’s Parish Church, in Lothian Road, from 7.30pm.

Performances of Parry’s Coronation Anthem, I Was Glad, and Paul Mealor’s Ubi Caritas are highlights in the varied programme of music on a royal theme.

Michael Bawtree will take up the role of conductor and Morley Whitehead will be the organist.

Tickets for the concert are available from the Usher Hall Box Office and cost £16, £13.50 concession or £5 for students.
