The Mayfield and Easthouses Community Futures Neighbourhood Plan for the next three years is to be launched at a public event.
The plan includes community opinions on what residents most want to see improved and their ideas about how improvements can be made.
The actions set out in the plan will be rolled out over a five-year period. Midlothian Council’s community planning spokesman, Councillor Owen Thompson, said: “I look forward to working with the local community to address these challenges.”
The meeting will be held at McSence Conference Centre, Mayfield, on Saturday from 10.30am to midday.
