AN appeal for the whereabouts of machete thug Jonathan Kelly will be broadcast on Crimewatch tomorrow.
Kelly, of Drumchapel, Glasgow, is believed to be being sheltered in Edinburgh by gangland associates after going on the run after he was released from Low Moss Prison near Glasgow in August when he breached the terms of his licence.
Kelly, 34, was originally jailed for a machete attack which left a man paralysed and has notched up a violent record while behind bars.
Detectives will make an appeal for information about Kelly’s whereabouts on Crimewatch tomorrow night, a BBC spokesperson confirmed.
Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is also offering a £1000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
