A CROSSBOW and two air rifles were seized by police during a drugs raid at an East Lothian home.

Diamorphine, a three-plant cannabis cultivation and herbal cannabis with a value of more than £13,000 were also found at the address in Moir Avenue, Musselburgh.

In addition, almost 7,000 diazepam tablets, more than £1,500 in cash and various drugs paraphernalia were seized.

Two men, both aged 23, were arrested and charged, and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.

Chief Inspector Matt Paden said: “The information we receive from the public is invaluable and has allowed officers to remove a significant quantity of drugs, as well as a number of weapons, from the community.

“We would urge anyone with concerns to contact Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, where the information they provide will be treated with the strictest confidence and used to keep our communities safe.”
