Edinburgh police called after Craigmillar car fire

Emergency services were called to a fire in a car on Craigmillar Castle Road this afternoon.

Police were called to the scene along with fire fighters.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 4.35pm on Wednesday, 13 January, officers were called to a report of a car fire at Craigmillar Castle Road.

"No one was in the vehicle at the time."

It is understood that there were no injuries during the incident.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has been contacted for comment.
