A HIGH-risk serial sex offender who was caught with video clips of a toddler being abused while out on licence has been jailed for four years.

Scott Kelly downloaded the footage from the internet onto another person’s laptop computer.

Police experts recovered three video clips which showed a boy aged between about a year and 16 months old.

Kelly, 28, admitted possessing and making indecent photos of children on January 11 this year at a flat in West Granton Road, in Edinburgh, when he appeared at the High Court in Glasgow.

Lord Turnbull heard that he was released early from a previous prison sentence last year after he was jailed in 2009 for downloading more than a 1000 indecent images of children.

The judge ordered Kelly to serve the remaining two and a half years of that sentence before he begins the four year sentence.
