A PERVERT worker crouched down behind women and took pictures up their skirts as they shopped.

Paul Campbell, 22, was jailed for a year after admitting the offences at B&M Stores in Glasgow Road between December 1 and 16 last year.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard that the offences came to light when colleagues noticed Campbell’s behaviour.

CCTV footage taken inside the store then confirmed that Campbell, whose address was given as Saughton Prison, had been using a mobile phone camera to take the pictures.

The court heard Campbell had a previous conviction for similar offences. Sheriff Frank Crowe told him: “You should be ashamed of yourself.”
