Two men from the East Lothian area are among five people who have been arrested in connection with the robbery of several jewellers in Glasgow’s Argyll Arcade.

The five men - aged between 31 and 23 - will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. It is understood the other suspects are from England.

Eighteen watches, worth around £250,000, were taken during the September 24 incident, in which jewellers Rox, Mappin and Webb, Laing and Lewis Grant were targeted.
