TWO housing blocks in north Edinburgh are to be demolished to make way for modern homes.
The three-storey buildings on Muirhouse Parkway will be bulldozed after approval was given this week.
Once home to 22 families, the deck access blocks date back to the late 1960s.
Demolition is expected within months.
Some 1400 homes are to be constructed in Muirhouse as part of the city council’s 21st Century Homes programme.
