Did Arnold Schwarzenegger break two laws in Edinburgh?

Breaking the law? He cycles the wrong way up Lothian Road, and then smokes in his car.

THE TERMINATOR star created a media frenzy with his sightseeing trip round Edinburgh - but did he also unwittingly break two laws?

Firstly he ended up cycling into oncoming traffic outside the Caley hotel while on his cycle tour of the West End. He was pictured, followed by minders cycling up the bus lane as bemused motorists drove past.

Perhaps for a minute he forgot he was not at home in California - although the temperature should have been a clue.

Later as he was leaving, Arnie was spotted with his trademark cigar getting into a chauffeur-driven car to whisk him back to his private plane.

Acceptable in the US perhaps but Scotland’s strict smoking laws would cover his chauffeur’s workplace, meaning lighting up in the back was technically a breach.

Not the most serious crimes perhaps and unlikely to be a case for Interpol - plus who would be brave enough to tell him?
