Driver charged after car flips onto roof at Hillend

A DRIVER has been charged by police after his car crashed into another vehicle and flipped onto its roof.

The dramatic incident, which happened yesterday at Midlothian Snowsports Centre, Hillend, saw the blue Peugeot career down the approach road and collide with another car at around 12.45pm.

Officers said the driver - thought to be a young man in his late teens or early 20s - was treated at the scene for minor head injuries. No one else is believed to have been injured.

The man was charged with dangerous driving, with a report sent to the procurator fiscal.
