WEST Lothian College hosted a lively debate on retail to mark five decades of the new town of Livingston.
Senior figures from the industry joined together at the recent event to share their expertise with local businesses and members of the public.
More than 100 people took up the invitation to visit the college’s Almondvale campus to listen to the debate.
Speakers at the event included Colin Temple, managing director at Schuh, the UK footwear retailer based in Livingston. He said: “Retail is changing a lot and consumers are changing too. Events like this are a great way of keeping up to date with what is going on in our industry.
“Based here in Livingston, we find we have an ideal location and we are looking forward to continuing to grow.”
