A NEW film has been produced to mark the graduation of 60 school pupils from Queen Margaret University’s first Children’s University.

The scheme strives to raise children’s aspirations, encourages them to learn in different ways, and rewards them for taking part in a wide variety of activities outside of school hours. The East Lothian schools that took part were Pencaitland Primary, Yester Primary, Ross High School, Sanderson’s Wynd Primary and Stoneyhill Primary and last week the children were dressed head to toe in traditional gowns and mortar boards to receive their certificates.
