POP legend Anastacia, the mega voice behind a series of massive hits checks into the Usher Hall next Wednesday.

With more than 30 million records sold worldwide, Anastacia is now one of the most recognisable voices around. Her last album, Ultimate Collection, reached the Top 10 , the sixth in her career, cementing her timeless status, with a voice that will continue to reach many for years to come.

Ahead of the tour Anastacia revealed, “I am really looking forward to getting back on the road again. I love performing and can’t wait to see all my fans’ beautiful faces.”

The 48-year-old US singer scored her first hit in 2000 with l’m Outta Love, the biggest selling single of the year.

That was taken from her first studio album Not That Kind. Six more studio albums followed.

But it has not all been plain sailing. In April 2013 the singer was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time, 10 years after her first battle.

A decision not taken lightly, she decided to undergo a double mastectomy, finding solace in writing a journal of songs.

Anastacia looks on this as her Resurrection period - hence the title of her sixth album

15 years on from her first hit she released her Ultimate Collection, which includes her breakout smash hits I’m Outta Love, Left Outide Alone and Paid My Dues, as well as her new single, Take This Chance.

All are sure to feature when Anastacia takes to the stage of the Usher Hall on Wednesday as part of her Ultimate Collection Tour.

She says, “I feel so blessed and humbled to be experiencing this exciting next chapter of my life.

“The idea for my Ultimate Collection is to include something for everyone. I’m eternally grateful to be reunited with Sony, the record label that made all of this possible from day one. 15 years later I’m back, I’m home and I couldn’t be happier”.

She adds, “I am really looking forward to performing in Edinburgh.

“It’s a great energy crowd in Scotland so I’m excited to go back. They know how to party.”
