Club nights in Edinburgh this week.

WOT D FUNK – Krispy Kreme

Have you tried Krispy Kreme? WDF are giving away the designer donuts with every ticket sale. If that wasn’t enough to get your teeth into, DJs Barrie Wilkins and Grieg Thomson supply the best in funky house and commercial dance to work of the extra calories. Friday, 3 May, Mood (Formerly GHQ), Picardy Place, 10pm – 3am, £3/4

JACKHAMMER – DAVE CLARKE

The Baron of Techno returns with his trademark no-nonsense techno and strictly underground persona. However, it’s the co-headliners ‘Kaiser Disco’ who grab the attention for The Guide. The Kings of German tech-house rewrote the genre and received a string of number one hits for all the hard work. Their funky take is exceptionally groovy and gets double fisted thumbs up from us. Support from Wolfjazz and Keyte. Friday, 3 May, Liquid Rooms, Victoria St, 10pm – 3am, £14

UNSEEN – TRUSS aka MPIA3

Promoter Mike Lavin with residents Neil Templer and Nomad celebrate a year of leftfield techno. Headline DJ TRUSS (Tom Russell) plays out stripped back acid techno with a raw industrial/retro vibe. With his releases being cut on Perc Trax, Avian and R & S records, he offers fierce competition for the Edinburgh techno scene. Friday, 3 May, Studio 24, Calton Rd, 10pm – 3am, £5

SUARVE PARTY
