LONG before the Bay City Rollers topped the charts with Bye Bye Baby, it was originally a hit for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and as such, it is just one of classic rock ‘n’ roll anthems to be heard at the Playhouse this week as the Jersey Boys strut back into town.

The smash hit musical, which has scored 55 major awards worldwide, including the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, tells the true life story of four boys from the wrong side of the tracks who wrote their own songs, invented their own unique sound and sold 175 million records worldwide.

Featuring hit after legendary hit including Beggin’, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Oh What a Night, Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Big Girls Don’t Cry and many more, Jersey Boys is a story full of heart, humour and singalong songs.

Jersey Boys, Playhouse, Greenside Place, until Saturday, 7.30pm (matinees 2.30pm), £26.65-£70.15 + £4 Transaction fee, 0844-871 3014
