IN this one-man Cinder-Ella, presented by The Krazy Kat Theatre Company at Pleasance Two, nothing is left out from the traditional story but lots of nifty invention is added.

It’s daft and delightful, a fast and funny family show with an extravaganza of exquisite puppet figures that’s easy to watch and fun to see.

Accessible, it’s a treat for all audiences, both deaf and hearing, this is inclusive theatre at its best.

Cinder-Ella is true spectacle encompassing theatre, opera, art, drama, puppetry and is certainly not just for children.

It’s also strangely minimalist, while appearing richly embroidered, and it is definitely deceptively clever. As The Grandfather, multi-award winning performer Kinny Gardner is witty, enchanting and mesmerising.

The fluid sign language enriches the whole performance and you revel in Gardner’s enjoyment and infectious sense of play.

You will marvel at his proper operatic singing voice too.

And if you want more, Gardner is also in Edmund the Learned Pig at Summer-hall for Fringe week three, appearing on stage with the show’s director Caroline Parker.

Make a date to catch him there after delighting in this inventive retelling of one of the world’s favourite fairytales.
