My Mad Fat Diary (E4, 10pm)
THE touching, funny coming-of-age drama, based on the real-life teenage diaries of Rae Earl returns. Rae (Sharon Rooney) is back for a second series, and still together with boyfriend Finn (Nico Mirallegro). However, it looks like her summer of love may not last for long as her insecurities threaten her relationship, and she starts to panic about heading to college.
The Great British Sewing Bee (BBC Two, 8pm)
CLAUDIA Winkleman invites 10 home stitchers to show off their skills in the hopes of impressing judges Patrick Grant and May Martin. Their first challenge, to whip up a tunic top. With the clock ticking some try to cut corners to make sure they’ll finish on time, but will the risk be worth it?
Brit Awards 2014 (STV, 8pm)
JAMES Corden hosts the music awards ceremony for the final time.
Live from the 02 Arena, the 34th annual event features a strong presence from rockers Bastille, electronica outfit Disclosure, and drum and bass quartet Rudimental.
All three are also up for several gongs, including Best British Group; British Album of the Year, and British Single of the Year.
Other acts taking to the stage are Pharrell Williams, Lorde, Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding and Bruno Mars.
Big Ballet (Channel 4, 9pm)
IF you’ve not managed to catch this intriguing show, Wayne Sleep is joined by prima ballerina Monica Loughman in an attempt to get a troupe of plus-size amateur dancers to realise their dream of dancing Swan Lake.
Of course by ‘plus size’, we mean a dress size 12 or higher, which makes them ‘too big’ for traditional ballet. But Monica and Wayne are feeling the pressure - they know they’re going to have to pull off something spectacular to amaze the critics, so the set, the costumes and the music must be perfect.
Edge of Heaven (STV, 9pm)
SET in a Margate B&B, this sitcom focuses on Alfie, who knows exactly what he wants and has his entire life mapped out - he’s going to marry his fiancée Carly and live happily ever after. However, he’s left shattered at the altar when Carly announces that she no longer wants to tie the knot - a quick snog on her hen night has made her think that there might be more for her in the big, wide world.
The Voice UK (BBC One, 7pm)
EMMA Willis and Marvin Humes present the final week of Blind Auditions and the last opportunity for artists to claim the remaining spots on the coaches’ respective teams. Expect jeopardy and joy as the search to find the UK’s next great voice continues. Spaces are limited and the stakes are extremely high.
The Musketeers (BBC One, 9pm)
PORTHOS wakes up from his drunken birthday celebrations with no memory of the night before; not unusual, except there’s a dead body beside him... After being unjustly sentenced to death he’s abducted to the dangerous Court of Miracles, the streets of his childhood.
In order to save him, the Musketeers must prove his innocence.
