Your pick of this week’s TV shows.
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! (STV, 9pm)
IT’S the show that’s full of surprises - not least the one which awaited our ‘fearless’ (yeah, right) contestants.
But with another chance to earn their fellow campers something a little more appetising to dine on, who will be facing the challenge and feeling the heat? With hosts Ant and Dec.
Pilgrimage with Simon Reeve (BBC Two, 9pm)
INTREPID explorer Simon Reeve is off on another adventure. This time he’s determined to learn all there is to know about age-old pilgrimages across the world.
However, he begins rather closer to home at Lindisfarne, one of the earliest sites of pilgrimage in Britain, where he retraces the footsteps of some of the nation’s first Christians who travelled from there to Canterbury around 1,300 years ago.
28 Up South Africa (STV)
FORGET Big Brother or even The X Factor - arguably the most influential ‘reality’ series of all time is Seven Up, the ground-breaking British documentary which introduced viewers to a group of children from a variety of different backgrounds, and then returned at seven-yearly intervals to check their progress.
The format has also been embraced in other countries, and now ITV are bringing us the latest update from the South African version.
Charley Boorman’s USA Adventure (Five, 8pm)
CHARLEY Boorman ventures into Georgia’s Walker County, an area well-known to pot-holers thanks to its deep, underground caverns. However, this adventure brings something of a challenge to our intrepid traveller, as he admits that confined spaces aren’t his strong point.
Robbie Williams’ One Night At The Palladium (BBC One, 8pm)
ON November 8 this year, Robbie Williams performed at the London Palladium. Of course not everyone was able to witness his latest evening of swing music, so here’s a chance to see what you missed.
Singing tracks from new album Swings Both Ways, he is joined by special guests such as Lily Allen, Rufus Wainwright and Kermit the Frog.
Atlantis (BBC One, 8.15pm)
WHILE trying to find Medusa, our heroes become ensnared in the brutal blood sport of a tribe of Scythians.
After the tragic events surrounding Medusa’s disappearance, the boys pay a visit to the inventor Daedalus whose genius offers hope of a cure.
But, unwilling to wait for answers, Hercules acts on information from the unscrupulous Crios and sets off in search of his lost love.
The Paradise (BBC One, 8pm)
CLEMENCE arrives back in town, bringing her problems to an already troubled Paradise. She gives Denise a pot of Parisian rouge and challenges her to sell it to her customers. A stranger arrives in pursuit of Clémence and when his path crosses Tom Weston’s, he is coerced into a deal which leaves Clémence compromised and at the mercy of Tom.
