FORMER Hearts star Rudi Skacel and his agent Jochen Kientz have settled a legal action over unpaid commission fees.
The pair have negotiated a deal out of court over claims that the midfielder, 34, owed Mr Kientz, 41, thousands of Euros over the player’s move to the Edinburgh club in 2010.
The revelation emerged at a minute long hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today which was heard before Sheriff William Holligan.
The exact terms of the settlement are not known.
Last year, lawyers acting for Kientz, who lives in Germany, claimed the striker owed him 69,020 Euros for securing Rudi’s move to the Jambos three years ago.
He claimed he was owed the cash for negotiating the Czech player’s move away from Greek side Larissa Football Club back to Tynecastle.
But Skacel said he didn’t owe Mr Kientz anything because negotiated his 190,000 Euro per year contract with Hearts by himself.
Mr Skacel originally wanted the matter thrown out of court.
On Monday, a clerk of court said the matter had been settled and that proceedings were no longer active.
