ARCHERY, orienteering and kayaking are among the challenges being offered to visitors at a family activity day in East Lothian this weekend.
Now in its third year, the event, being held in Prestongrange features a diverse range of activities for local families to try, whilst also enjoying the local museum and grounds.
There will be opportunities to try out archery and orienteering, while the Ranger Service will provide a chance for families to get up close with wildlife – of the stuffed variety.
Kayaking will be available on the lagoons, with booking this year taking place in the visitor centre at Prestongrange.
Art activities will also be available for families, as well as outdoor games and trails around the museum.
Entry to the event is free, however, some activities may incur a small charge.
A programme for the day, this Saturday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, is available to download from www.prestongrange.org.
