THE Meadows Festival is to return tomorrow despite fears that it would never be seen again in the Capital.
Last autumn it looked likely that a lack of volunteer organisers would mean the 40-year-old event would fold.
However, it was salvaged after an influx of fresh blood – and it has been promised that this year’s festival will be bigger than ever.
A kids’ corner, live music, arts, a football tournament and a dog show are among the highlights. It takes place in the Meadows this weekend.
