MORE than 50 dancers left passers-by stunned with a Flamenco flashmob in the city centre.
Residents of Wester Hailes and Craigmillar responded to a call from Hispanic Arts Scotland to train for the performance.
Dancers aged from 18-75 emerged from the crowds to carry out the choreographed routine at the foot of The Mound.
Members of the public soon caught the rhythm and got their own feet moving for the rumba finale.
The flashmob was the opening event of the Just Festival, a programme highlighting Indian culture throughout August.
