A GROUP of golfers from Greenburn Golf Club, Fauldhouse, has completed an eight-round golf marathon over two days and raised more than £2000 for Capability Scotland.

The team, which included Lothians Labour MSP Neil Findlay, had originally planned to play eight different courses but some were closed because of the weather, forcing them to stick to four – Greenburn, Harburn, Bathgate and
Shotts.

Mr Findlay said: “This was a great effort by all concerned. I would like to thank Graham McLeod, Stephen Hendry, Stephen Bell and Ross Mallon for their efforts, and also the back-up team who helped keep up our morale and assisted us in completing the challenge.”
