A FORKLIFT driver pulled his partner’s hair out “in lumps” during a drink-fuelled domestic fight.
Colin Skillen repeatedly slapped the woman on the head after knocking her to the ground during the fracas in Whitburn in February.
But Livingston Sheriff Court was told yesterday that the couple had since made up and were now planning to get married in August.
Skillen, 33, from Whitburn appeared for sentence after earlier pleading guilty to assault.
Kevin Dugan, defending, said: “On the day in question, he’d had around seven or eight pints of lager, something which – bar this time – he very rarely had.”
Skillen was put under social work supervision for a year to promote his “rehabilitation and good behaviour”.
