A REPORT into the collapse of Halifax Bank of Scotland has been delayed until after the general election.

The findings of the watchdog report are expected to expose blunders made by bank executives, regulators and politicians.

And it will conclude whether or not action should be taken against key individuals such as HBOS executives James Crosby, Andy Hornby and Lord Stevenson.

Business Secretary Vince Cable said the delay was “totally unsatisfactory”.
