THE health service has dished out advice ahead of bank holiday closures for the Diamond Jubilee weekend.
The NHS 24 phoneline will be working with NHS Lothian to make sure patients can access care if their GP surgeries are closed for four days.
Sun-seekers have also been warned to take precautions.
NHS 24 medical director Professor George Crooks said: “I would urge people to order and collect any necessary repeat prescriptions in plenty of time.
“I would also advise people to stay safe and healthy while spending time out in the sun.”
