The number of measles cases has risen to 13 following a small outbreak at Edinburgh University.

NHS Lothian confirmed that four new cases had been identified yesterday and vaccination clinics have been set up.

A statement on the health board’s website said: “These four new cases are closely linked, were already known to the healthcare staff as contacts of existing, confirmed cases and appropriate measles containment measures have been applied.”
