HEARTS have held German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg to a goalless draw in a fundraising friendly match at Tynecastle.
The low-key match was watched by a crowd of 5535, but while the draw is a creditable one for the Edinburgh side there was little action to keep the crowds entertained.
In fact the Capital club used the game as a chance to give academy youngsters Angus Beith and goalkeeper jack Hamilton their first-team debuts.
And Hamilton acquitted himself superbly, with his first touch being a point blank save from Wolfsburg striker Willi Evseev to keep the game level.
The aim of the match was to raise much-needed funds for the cash-strapped club.
