FOOTBALL fans representing Edinburgh’s green half have been offered the unique chance to run out on their hallowed turf against their arch rivals.
A charity match between supporters of Hearts and Hibs will take place later this year.
Organisers for the Easter Road club’s team are to hold trials for would-be players.
Dean Philp, manager of the Hibs side, said: “I am ideally looking for players who have had experience of 11-a-side football and have played at a decent level.
“If you are a true Hibby and in reasonable fitness, you could be playing against Hearts fans at Easter Road.”
Trials take place for players aged 16 and over at the Spartans Academy at Ainslie Park on Fridays, 7pm-9pm.
