TWO smartly dressed men are being hunted after a man was attacked in the city centre in the early hours.
The 18-year-old victim was in Rose Street at the junction with South Charlotte Street when he noticed a black Volkswagen Golf pull up and stop behind him.
Two men – who spoke with Eastern European accents – jumped out the car, punched and kicked the man, and stole his wallet before getting back in the vehicle and speeding off towards Princes Street.
Both attackers were wearing suits with white shirts and smart black shoes during the incident between 2am and 2.30am on Friday.
Police said both were white, between 30 and 40-years-old with stocky builds and shaved heads. One was 5ft 10ins, while the other was 6ft.
Detective Sergeant Lynsey Thomson said: “The victim suffered some cuts and bruises, and was very shaken following this attack. We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and remembers seeing anything suspicious.”
