THE legendary designer behind the ‘I Love New York’ logo is to deliver a rare public lecture to an Edinburgh audience.

Milton Glaser, whose heart-centred design has been popular with visitors to the Big Apple since the ‘70s, has been invited to deliver the inaugural Chancellor’s Talk at Edinburgh Napier University.

Design genius Glaser, whose work also includes the famous psychedelic Bob Dylan poster and the Brooklyn Brewery logo, will address an audience at the University’s Craiglockhart campus via a Skype link on Wednesday, March 9.

Speaking from his native New York City, the 86-year-old will speak about a career which has seen him co-found New York magazine and host one-man shows on his way to becoming one of the most celebrated designers in the U.S.
