IAN Black has been banned for ten games after admitting betting against his own team.
The former Hearts player, who is now with Rangers, will serve an immediate three-game suspension, with another seven matches suspended.
He was also fined £7500 after a hearing at Hampden Park today.
Black, from Tranent, admitted betting on his then-registered club not to win in three matches, a further 10 football matches that involved then-registered club, and another 147 matches.
Footballers registered in Scotland are prohibited from betting on any matches played anywhere in the world.
