ONE of the country’s leading tourism experts will paint a picture of an industry model for the 21st century at a lecture at Queen Margaret University.
Professor Brian Hay, PhD, visiting professor in the school of arts, social sciences and management at the university, will draw on his 20 years’ experience to explore how tourism must evolve to meet market demands and increasing expectations.
The talk, part of the university’s professorial lecture series, will take place in the Halle Lecture Theatre on April 24.
The World Tourism Organisation has predicted that international tourists will surpass the one billion mark this year, and will increase to 1.8bn by 2030 – some 43 million additional international tourists each year.
Booking for the lecture, which will start at 6pm, is essential. Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
