In a move designed to further cast fear and doubt ahead of the Scottish Independence referendum, Unionist campaigners from the Labour party delivered a giant pound to Bute House, the official residence of the Scottish First Minister.

Deputy Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar took the large coin to Alex Salmond’s home in St Andrew Square after the SNP leader was accused of failing to answer questions over a ‘Plan B’ for a Scottish currency in the event of a Yes vote.
