Lord Provost of Edinburgh George Grubb will be officially opening Barnardo’s Scotland’s latest shop in South Queensferry.
The children’s charity recently opened the shop at The Loan and has already proved popular with residents.
The shop will be trading seven days a week selling clothes, bric-a-brac, books and DVDs.
Prior to his official engagement tomorrow at 3pm, Councillor Grubb said: “I hope it will be a success and assist Barnardo’s Scotland in providing their excellent work helping young people.
“It makes sense both economically and environmentally to recycle surplus clothes and household items, so I would encourage everyone to donate to their local charity shop.”
